Albania’s Socialist Party leads in parliamentary vote, results show

TIRANA (Reuters) – Prime Minister Edi Rama’s Socialist Party took a strong lead in Albania’s parliamentary election, securing 52.85% of the vote with 29% of the ballots counted, state election commission results showed on Monday.
The opposition Democratic Party was placed second with 34.27% of the votes.
