EAST LANSING, MI — Michigan State University has suspended football workouts after a positive Covid-19 test. A staff member tested positive over the weekend.
The team was to begin a 20-hour practice week, which includes walkthroughs, conditioning and meetings. It’s not clear how long the suspension might last.
The Big Ten announced two weeks ago that all non-conference games this fall have been cancelled and that only Big Ten games will take place. A fall game schedule has not been finalized.
