NASHVILLE, MI (WLMI) — The Lions made some music of their own last night when they selected Iowa tight end T.J. Hockenson eighth overall in the first round of the NFL Draft in Nashville.
Hockenson led the Hawkeyes with 49 catches for 760 yards and six touchdowns in 13 starts in 2018 and was named all Big Ten.
Quarterback Kyler Murray from Oklahoma was the first pick by Arizona. The second and third rounds are set for tonight. The draft concludes with rounds four through seven tomorrow.
